In the Fall, Idaho is a spectacular venue for not only dramatic fall foliage, but also a plethora of diverse food and libations. Forty-three wineries, nineteen commercial craft brewers, five distilleries and 140 different crops change Idaho’s pristine landscape into an endless edible banquet.
This year brings the first annual Harvest Idaho: One Bite at a Time. Beginning August 29, the events run through November 6. August 28 – September 2: Wine & Whitewater on the Main Salmon River
A very exclusive week on the Main Salmon River, where guest hosts, Pug Ostling and Lisa Whisnant, will teach you to mix, match and “marry” your food and wine like a pro. September 4-7: Cooking Adventure – Culinary Whitewater Series with Row Adventures
Four-days on Idaho’s Salmon River Canyons (River of No Return). Combines hands-on learning of campfire and Dutch Oven cooking focused on Northwest Regional Fare.
